POVERTY

Indigence, need, penury, pauperism, pauperization – a state of extreme poverty or destitution; “their indigence appalled him”; “a general state of need exists among the homeless”.

Poor– characterized by or indication poverty, “ the country had a poor economy”; “ they lived in the poor section of town”.

Poor– having little Money of few possessions; “deplored the gap between rich and poor countries”, “ the proverbial poor artist living in a garret”.

Financial condition – the condition of ( corporate or personal) finances.

Impecuniousness, pennilessness, penuriousness – a state of lacking money.

Wealth, healthiness – the state of being rich and affluent; having a plentiful supply of material goods and money; “ great wealth is not a sign f great intelligence”.

Privation, want, deprivation, neediness – a state of extreme poverty.

Destitution – a state without friends or maney or prospects.

Poverty, poorness, impoverishment – the state of having little or no Money and few or no material possession.
